Always tread lightly when sliding into DMs.
Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly found this out after social media personality and former porn star Mia Khalifa put his “game” on blast after the Rebels fell to Florida State on Monday, 45-34.
Khalifa, a Florida State fan, posted a screenshot of a conversation she had with Kelly with the caption, “Shoulda spent more time in your playbook and less time in my DM’s #NOLES.”
The conversation revealed the Ole Miss quarterback asking Khalifa to add him on Snapchat and hoping to see her at Monday’s game.
“I’m only adding you to find your weaknesses before the game. Also because last chance U,” Khalifa wrote.
“Oh yeah haha your funny. What did you think of the show?” Kelly asked.
“Weakness 1: can’t resist urges to slide into DM’s of girls outta his league.”
Kelly's Twitter account was coincidentally deleted after the game and the DMs surfaced.
While it's pretty tame as far as exposed DMs go, Kelly--who threw for 313 yards, four touchdowns but three interceptions--could have avoided it all if he managed to cut down the turnovers and help the team avoid blowing a 28-6 lead.
It also serves as a fair warning to any other player facing Florida State to be wary sliding into Khalifa’s DMs before a game.
